This seventeen minute film was Luis Bunuel's first film, released in 1929, and his first of two collaborations with surreal artist, Salvador Dali. The famous and often disturbing images in this film were described by one critic recently as "the reason we all dream in black and white." This 1968 release of the film was truly the first release of this classic and included the music track that Bunuel added in the early 1960s.
