Important piece of Cherubino Pata and also a historical view of Paris with the old Palais du Trocadéro from the year of construction 1878, on the occasion of World "Exposition Universelle" in Paris. The palace was to the regret of the Population of Paris demolished in 1937 and replaced by a new building, the Palais de Chaillot. Cherubino Pata was the most important pupil and assistant of Gustave Courbet. From 1871, the two artists paintings and large orders resulted from common. Pata was but also self-employed as an artist and stepped out of the shadow of the early great master out. In 1868, he debuted at the Paris Salon. As outstanding landscapes are his law and his motives from a trip in 1879 to call through North Africa. In 1890 he founded his own studio in Locarno.
