Hide and Shriek is a well-scripted 1938 Our Gang short film directed by Gordon Douglas. It was the 168th Our Gang entry in the series, and the last to involve series creator Hal Roach, going out with a bang - a testament to his genius and his lasting creation in this series' beloved characters series, which began in the silent era, became even more popular in the 1930s, and is still in distribution.                            .
