Apprently an exceedingly rare early American game, presumably similar in concept to Milton Bradley's 1860 Game of Life, where that game simulated a person's travels through their life, from early adulthood to retirement, with college if necessary, jobs, marriage, and possible children along the way. In contrast, the present game appears to be a lesson in morality, with images picturing a fool, a bed, a crab, an old maid, a toll bridge, a stern man holding a switch, a prison, a policeman and two skeletons (one labeled "Resurrection"), the entire course encircled by foliage and busy bees, probably strongly suggesting a player's best defense from ruin comes solely from maintaining a virtuous enterprisng nature.
